Since 2021, Livingston Loves Trees has been enhancing the diversity, equity, and resilience of our community forest. With support from volunteers, local landscaping businesses, and generous donors, we’re working toward an ambitious goal: planting 1,000 new trees across Livingston within a decade.
Through our dedicated Tree Fund, we raise the resources needed to purchase, plant, and care for trees in boulevards, public spaces, and front yards, ensuring a greener future for everyone. In turn, Livingston residents “adopt” trees and commit to a simple care and watering schedule to ensure their survival and growth.
In just three seasons, we’ve already planted 273 trees, including oaks, elms, maples, lindens, honey locusts, flowering crabapples, Japanese lilacs, and more. These trees are nurtured by over 250 households across Livingston — and the numbers keep growing!
Looking for a meaningful gift that will last for generations? Donate a tree in honor of someone you care about!
The Tree Fund is a dedicated account at PCEC, used exclusively for planting and caring for new trees. With a $500 donation, you can “plant it forward” and sponsor a tree for your community.
Giving the gift of a tree is an investment in Livingston today — and a legacy for future generations.
