By donating to this fund you will support the Crazy Mountains Oral History Project, an innovative initiative between Appearing Flying Woman Consulting (AFWC), Park County Environmental Council (PCEC), Montana Historical Society (MHS) and fifteen diverse narrators from various Montana communities. This project aims to gather and preserve the diverse histories and stories tied to the Crazy Mountains, a region undergoing rapid development and facing challenges related to land access, use, and care. Together, we are creating an oral history archive, a website, podcast series, listening and discussion sessions, and stewardship recommendations. The goal is to influence how we care for each other, the land, and its biodiversity today and in the future.
