Through our Bee City USA designation, we are focused on:

• Habitat Development:

  • We are working to convert public spaces into effective pollinator habitats.
  • Residents can contribute by planting native wildflowers.

• Pesticide Reduction:

  • We are reducing and eliminating harmful pesticide use on city lands.
  • We advocate for Integrated Pest Management (IPM) practices.

• Committing to pollinator-friendly gardening without harmful pesticides.
• Displaying a yard sign during the growing season.
• Providing an email address for program updates.

• The maintenance of a downtown pollinator corridor on 2nd street.
• Seed distribution events.
